PRT-Lami Oy is part of the PRT Forest Concern that specialises in processing tight-grained northern timber for the benefit of the construction industry. We consider high quality and customer satisfaction to be the bedrock of our operations. PRT-Lami glulam and PRT-Lami I beams are produced combining only the best features with a skilled workforce, state-of-the-art production technology and our natural timber raw material.

Sustainable Business Operations

PRT-Lami Oy conducts business in a responsible and sustainable manner. We are committed to developing our working methods in close cooperation with our customers and stakeholders. We take environmental protection issues seriously and we are continually striving to reduce our environmental impact by improving the energy efficiency of our production process. Environmental issues are also our main concern when planning waste management in our plant area. We select chemicals with the smallest environmental impact for use in our production processes and all by-products of our manufacturing process are used to generate heat in our plant area.

PRT-Lami Oy complies with current legislation and official regulations within all operations and we expect our stakeholders to do the same. Our dealings are transparent and honest whether with our customers, stakeholders or employees. We are continuously training our workers to operate in a more economic and environmentally friendly way. Our product quality control consists of regular product testing as part of our own quality control system and in cooperation with external quality control organisations. We are also continually striving to make our plant a safer and healthier place of work for our employees.
